Extra Curricualr Activities
Pakistan International School, Al-Taif is fully cognizant of the importance of extra curricular activities not only to create healthy competition amongst young masters but also to give them ample opportunities for recreation and learning. There are certain Sub Committees functioning simultaneously in the Boys & Girls Wings. Some of them are worth mentioning.Sub Committees
There are 21 Sub Committees to maintain and improve the efficiency of the School. These are Discipline Committee, Education Committee, Literacy Committee, School Magazine Committee, Examination Committee,, Health Committee, Purchase & Maintenance Committee, etc.
Houses
There are four houses in the Boys Wing namely Jinnah House, Dr. Abdul Qadeer House, Sir Syed House and Iqbal House. Similarly, there are five houses in Girls Wing namely Aisha Siddiqa House, Zainab bint-e-Jahash House, Umm e Salma House, Hafza bint e Farooq House and Khadijatul Kubra House. Most the competitions are conducted amongst these houses separately in Boys & Girls Wings.
Games
A healthy body keeps a health mind. Keeping in view this maxim, we regularly arrange games competitions in addition to regular game periods in our spacious play grounds.
Debates
To boast up confidence and driving self confidence and leadership qualities, we always make special arrangements to conduct debate competitions on every national and international event.
Day celebrations / Cultural fairs
Remembering our national mile stones and sticking to our cultural heritage, we transfer the spirit of nationalism in the new generations especially who are far away from the home land, we strive to celebrate out national days and also we celebrate.
Educational & Recreational trips
Giving the blooming minds outside exposures for educational and recreational purposes bring about miraculous freshness in the mental abilities of the students. So, we arrange theses strips on rotational basis for all age groups.
Annual Prize Distribution
Students securing higher percentages as well position holders of different games are being rewarded with special prizes every year to ooze out the hidden talent amongst the youngsters and motivate the young blood for healthy competitions.
